This is a point and click puzzle Rube Goldberg, steampunk thingy game. So you start the game and the first thing you see is a picture on a wall. This is the entire game, right in front of you. Virtually no instructions of how to play, so what do you do next? Well you click somewhere on the screen, by doing this the camera zooms in a bit, you click some more, and you keep zooming in, closer and closer. Depending where you click, you will end up zoomed in on some random part of the picture, you try to right click on the screen next, but that zooms you out, before you know it you are zooming in and out, and dragging the screen from left to right, marveling at all the detail, and everything that is going on, but still you don't really know what to do, but then you notice that when you zoom in on something, a part changes blue, fantastic, I can now interact with it. So you pull a lever, and suddenly things come to life, you push a button, something else happens, you quickly start looking around for things to push, pull, interact with. This is the game, at first when you start playing you will think to yourself, "what the hell is this, what the hell am I supposed to do" but then w…

I was after an indie game for grownups which would challenge me but also be addictive and quirky. A pretty tough wish list, and I spent a long time looking before I found this game. It's fiendish and quirky and humorous and very, very clever... Not sure if I'll ever beat it, but... No, I WILL beat it - I'm not going to give up :) And it's too addictive to stop playing, anyway.

Players can relax and immerse themselves in the fantastically detailed curio whilst also trying to solve the complex and often confusing contraption puzzle with the overall goal of making a tasty loaf of bread! Traption Bakery is also is a unique mix of genres, presenting a conundrum of this complexity in such a relaxing way is a true feat and makes for a thoroughly enjoyable experience. It is not a short game or one to be rushed and succeeds in being a ponderous explorative experience as well as an excellent puzzle game. It's probably not for fans of instant gratification but the original mix of game play, charming artwork and low price make it easy to recommend! I really like this game. The idea is great, you have an overly complicated machine in front of you and you need to figure out how it works in order to bake bread! I still haven't managed to bake bread, but I'm progressing, and really enjoying the process! Seeing the images made me think it was kind of a Rube Goldberg machine, where you need to place every part in the right position, then release something at the start and the whole machine would get to work, but it's not, and that's a good thing. If it was like a Rube Goldberg machine it would have been way too easy, all you would have had to do is find the last part, see what it touches, move that, find the previous part, and so on until you get to the first piece of the puzzle. So unlike a Rube Goldberg machine, The TraptionBakery is made of separate elements that you need to operate separately. This means that you need to not only see what moves what, but you also have figure out what each part of the machine does. You can then work on preparing the different ingredients separately to bake the bread. It makes for a really fun puzzle, you're not simply moving parts of a machine, you're learning how the machine works and how to …

[h1]What a great little game![/h1] This is a slow game and I heavily recommend going in completely blind, just pull levers, push buttons and honk horns and see what happens, and eventually... you'll make some bread! Through an intense and pretty rube goldberg machine! So far my only issue's I've had is the game [i]feels[/i] a little slow, panning around can be laggy at times, never unbearable but uncomfortable and the arrow key movement is preeetty unusable with how slow it moves. I know it's a slow game but I would enjoy quick non sluggish panning, but your own mileage may vary since my computer isn't the most powerful. For just a fiver this game is 100% worth the buy, it's a fun and unique little puzzle game, something I haven't seen done yet in this genre.
