TRAUMA Broken Paradise

This game is ... something. When I bought the game, I was somewhat blinded by the appealing promotional material. Give me a survival horror game with fixed camera angles and I'm (usually) happy. However, this game rarely shares any of the things that define survival horror and technically its also not very scary, so it does not qualify as horror either. Let me get outta the way that presentation-wise the game looks awesome, although the soundtrack is all over the place. Its not bad, its just that the tracks don't seem to fit each other. First of all, don't expect a story. The game does not have one. It tells a vague narrative using documents your character can find, but those rarely make any sense and many of them are actually just clues for the puzzles. You only ever encounter lore, but not plot. The game has no plot. One of the reason the documents don't make any sense is because whoever translated the texts into English did a less than stellar job. There are blatant mistakes in there, like when the "dining room" is called the "living room" in a clue. Game has fixed camera, like old RE Games (which I'm not fond of it). Puzzles are hard (and deadly). Combat mechanic is via a camera (take photos) There are 7 endings (You unlock info on how to obtain them when you have finished the game at least once)

Its agame with different and new aspects new ideas need thinking and concentration for solving the puzzles plus for those who interested in changing outfits and styles;Trauma provides that;)

Silent Hill 4 and Shattered Memories were the last honest experiences from not OK, mentally suffering from depression, neurosises and maybe even psychosis devs: it is impossible to fake mental pain, reflection, deep depression, suicidal thoughts. People fighting them back for decades of therapy and drugs can always tell where is fake and where is true unbearable suffering. RIP Team Silent, thank you for your support, thank you for showing me that I was not alone. I find personally insulting that my depression becomes a product to sell, since right now I can see that my pain and suffering are someone's product. I can tell like perfectly healthy devs are trying to create games about them for a sake if profit only. I do can tell they don't suffer: this mirror has no reflection.
