Unveil the Secrets of Catherine Markwell in Violet: A Prelude to TRAUMA Broken Paradise
THIS IS NOT A WALKING SIMULATOR GAME
🎭What is Psychological Survival Horror?]🩸
🎭 Psychological Horror – A subgenre of horror that focuses on the player’s mind, creating fear through tension, atmosphere, and storytelling. Instead of relying on direct jump scares, it explores deep themes like paranoia, insanity, and the unknown, making the player question reality within the game.
🩸 Survival Horror – A genre centered on surviving against terror, where resources are limited, and every decision matters. The player must face terrifying threats, either through combat or specific mechanics to fight back. Fear comes not only from the enemies but also from the character’s vulnerability and constant tension.
Both genres can blend, creating unique experiences where the player not only survives but also feels the psychological weight of horror. 👁️

everything looks fantastic. the lighting, atmosphere, especially the protagonist. same thing with the sound. that soundtrack is phenomenal, i bought it as soon as i heard it. unfortunately the gameplay isn't. its extremely boring. your just walking around a dark forest and can't see much at all including yourself. all doors are locked at first until you reach the castle. at the castle grounds something in the dark is trying to kill you that you can barley see, then you randomly die soon after. no weapons or health to pick up. i would not call this survival horror more like " dark walking simulator". game never explains on what your supposed to do. most games i understand that want you to figure it out, but this is completely different. I just can't recommend this.... except for the soundtrack.5 found this helpful
great and awesome game, good puzzles and great story, reminds me alot of the older 90s games like silent hill and resident evil4 found this helpful
its not a bad game but its not great either, also thanks to unreal engine for crashing the game every time in the final boss area, music was really good 6/102 found this helpful
Good Game. Really good Soundtrack in game. Graphics are good, gameplay is ok. A "type of combat" exist. (FYI, this is not an action survival horror, more of a puzzle horror) There are some really hard puzzles, but they are optional. Game offers 7 endings (I've done 5 of them)1 found this helpful
the best thing i can say about the game is that it runs well it is well optimized to some extent because there are certain crashes. Other than that the idea of how the game was executed weas poorly the way the world is made and how you are expected to find certain things you can walk aimlessly and blind or miss stuff really easy and be lost for hours. most of my playtime was being lost because while everything to be done was in the castle for one reason or other developer thought it was good to put a key or a note that i need outside the castle at the end of the map far away of the castle or stuff like that really was not good level of puzzle design.
Although at first i was a bit sceptical with this game at first i didn't really like it but actually it grew on me somewhat the visuals are really good and wish ray traceing and dlss being supported its vary good looking and smooth occasionally I did get crashes but the developer already knows and it working on fixing these and any other glitches that have happened in the past it is regularly kept up to date with improvements and is vary nice to see a game getting supported like this as for gameplay it's decent but can get a little tedious at times sometimes you will spend a lot of time backtracking and not knowing where to pick stuff up and i had to refer to a guide at some points as for the horror it's not particularly scary just depends where you are someparts can catch you off guard and can give you a jump but its occasional atmosphere really sells it and plus there is crafting and a type of combat but not vary intense and if you don't like riddles or puzzles, you can set it to easy separate to gameplay difficulty, which is quite nice to have that choice and the story is a bit hard to get at first i don't fully get it myself honestly but you play as multiple characters that cro…
