Treasure of Barracuda

"Treasure of Barracuda" is a case of a developer not quite understanding LEGO(r) is a trademarked and copyrighted intellectual property, so just went ahead and, you know, used someone else's IP and concepts to make a rather godawful low poly LEGO(r) puzzle adventure game with a pirate theme ripped from LEGO(r) Pirates(tm). Treasure of Barracuda is a point-and-click puzzle adventure game. It involves exploring a virtual, brick-built puzzle box with a pirate theme. The player clicks on parts of the box, using items like an amulet to solve riddles and find treasure within. The puzzle interaction is elementary, and uninteresting. In fact we can all have a lot more fun than trying to play this by guessing when the somewhat litigous LEGO company will fire off the DMCA cease & desist. That'll be fun. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. Great puzzle! Ir's a shame that this didn't get approved in LEGO Ideas, but I appreciate that you still found a way to make it playable for everyone!

Makes no sense. Even using a walkthrough was difficult because even when you know there is a tiny thing that can be interacted with it doesn't always respond. I thought the game was broken until I watched a walkthrough and discovered interaction was possible, just very specific blocks in very specific ways in a very specific order. Might be the worst puzzle game I have ever played.

Idk if i missed something but it's just confusing, you click random spots that then unlock the ability to click other random spots with no seeming correlation. Just unsatisfying to play

this is a free game but i cannot recommend it at all because a lot of the choices here are lazy and with actual work put in could be fixed i had to fight the camera and controls something that could be fixed easy with a camera you can control that zooms in and out but not you are fighting the camera because it zooms in for you and press the worng palce and now you have changed postion combined with having problems even getting interactive objects to react sometimes what about an indication you are making progress well this has problems as well not only do you have problems seeing what you are doing because places you are suppose to interact with melts into everything you have no indication if what you are interacting with is even reacting sometimes meaning you can miss progress again there is an easy fix here and that is have some sort of indication when you are interacting with an object that it is part of the puzzle and dont make the interactive pieces melt so much into the objects so you can actually see what you are doing and indication could be either that the piece wiggles a bit or you hear ratteling lego your choice to use lego actually hurts what youa re t…
