You are Peep! You washed ashore on a remote island with no right hand, no family, and no memory of who you are or where you came from. Now you've got a handy hook and a snarky parrot, but your past remains a mystery.
Whydah is a chatty parrot who shares Peep’s love of adventure! He also loves to share his unsolicited advice and opinions. For as much as he loves to talk, Whydah has shared very little about his own past… but whatever happened before, Fate seems to have brought Peep and Whydah together for this quest.
The Glooskap is your trusty sea-faring vessel! Built by a brilliant engineer, it harnesses a mysterious power in order to shrink down and fit into Peep’s pocket when it’s not being used to explore the world. You can upgrade The Glooskap with accessories and weapons, making it a formidable dinghy, indeed.

This is a difficult review for me to write. I played Treasure Adventure Game way back in the day, many years ago, and I loved it--for a small game, it had a lot of heart, and a lot of drive behind it. It made some very smart, and some very good decisions; I won't say it was a classic, but I enjoyed it, and I remember hearing about Treasure Adventure World, and being excited about it for quite some time before it slipped off of my radar. I ended up getting it years later, where it sat in my backlog until recently. I'd only made a couple of passes at starting it, and gave up at the time... for reasons that will become apparent. I cannot recommend this game. As much as I enjoyed TAG, and as much as TAW... sort of won me over, as there is plenty to like here, I can say with confidence I have rarely had a more miserable time in a game, at least not that I can remember. I can see some of the same heart here, some of the same care, but everything about this game, everything from the ground up, feels designed fully to make your experience as a player miserable. It's been 6 years since I played this game, I have no idea why I didn't make a review at the time, It was an amazing experience, all this time I thought I had left a review so I didn't bother making one. I won't go into specifics about the game because I'm looking at with rose colored glasses but it is 100% worth a play. The soundtrack on its own is so good, I have not stopped listening to it since I first played. I would very much recommend.1 found this helpful

TAG was great! TAW is even better! [contains spoilers] > The burning question: who cut the arm off? Gagwin, or Baggus, the demon ? > How did Gagwin become a bird? was it the Bird Goddess (recall name?). > How did the three get away from the demon in TAG? Because remember the gods are basically at odds with each other, including Otis who originally wanted to imbue humans with conscience. > This is quite a compelling story for kids, and adults, perhaps a healing journey of sorts.
