Just one quick clarification, this games did not take me 17 hours to beat, i just left it on overnight. That said, this is my second Syntaxity puzzle game (after the bigfoot one) and I really enjoyed it. I'm not sure if this one was easier or if I'm not just calibrated to the way the dev thinks, but I never once had to use the hint system. However, like in my review for Bigfoot quest, I think the hint system is excellent and doesn't just solve things for you. I love the aesthetic, I love the puzzles, I plan to buy everything this dev has done.1 found this helpful
enjoyed the game - hint system fantastic - puzzles good and fun - liked that you had to work out how to do the puzzles (not hand held) - well done developers.
The beginning was a little slow but turned into an amazing game.I loved it.If you like puzzle games you will love this game.
I don't understand why there aren't more reviews for this game. I really liked the graphic scenery, the multitude of creative puzzles that were logical but not too easy and the 'treasure hunt' for artifacts to help along the way. The hint menu is also conveniently accessible when needed. In short, everything about this game is appealing to me and I will continue on with the sequels.
I liked this game for several reasons. It is a simple explore and solve puzzles game. Kind of old fashioned, like the original King's Quest type games, though nothing I've seen in the last 30 years has been as good as those old games. No silly stuff of the sort you find in so many new games. Hints are available, and useful if you just don't feel like walking around looking for action. (Though generally that is enjoyable and easy, if you aren't in a big hurry to get through the game.) Graphics are nice; somewhat cartoonish but okay with me. It doesn't give you a lot of guidance, like the sparkly areas that are so common in most games. You have to figure it out for yourself. Try it. It's worth the price, IMHO.
