About Trial of Sacrifice
A cult devoted to the evil god Chernobog has summoned a portal to the realm of the living.
As the god of darkness, Chernobog spreads a corruption to the mortal world, that slowly destroys the surrounding lands and causing an illness to spread. In the many attempts to close the realm connecting Chernobog to the world, the leaders of nearby kingdoms have sacrificed all of their soldiers and are now running out of options.
Our protagonist Viktor, a humble farmer; has been forced to be the next to enter the realm and attempt to defeat Chernobog. Viktor must succeed in this task, otherwise he will lose his life.
Follow along in Viktor's story; fighting skeletons and completing unique challenges, such as time trial completions or using unique fighting style choices.

Short and sweet! Combat could do with some more variety Boss fight had a move that froze my screen for a bit but overall the game was very enjoyable for what it was! Especially liked being able to hoard the resources after having upgraded everything!2 found this helpful
amazing indie game. i love the visuals and the last bossfight but the movement and combat is a little bit slow. also definetly make chernobog faster, by alot. that would definetly make it harder. 7/10 in total, cool game, area for improvement, short but fun. definetly play if your bored.1 found this helpful
"Trial of Sacrifice" is a very badly made third person Unity brawler/ARPG-lite where you wander around a dungeon and wave a comically oversized sword and various skeleton assets, then quickly uninstall the game. While the visuals are very poor, the gameplay is worse, being a sluggish, un-fun, barely playable mess. The game was purportedly made by a bunch of college graduates, and I'm guessing they graduated something important for society like "Emoji Studies" or "iPhone Usage 101", rather than game development. Because if these guys graduated in game development and this is all they can work out how to make, they should be asking for their money back. The game is really simple and unambitious in terms of implementation, more of a tech demo or one of those cases where an amateur developer spends $100 to publish something on Steam Direct to see if it's possible. Yes, obviously it's possible. A proof of concept, tech demo, or something that's less than a little blip on the radar isn't offering anything truly valuable to gamers. I'm not sure if this is an asset flip, but it's one of those cases where the assets just look (slightly) better than the rest of the quality of the gam…1 found this helpful
was a fun lil game, i'd suggest making everything faster, I know victor is "just a guy" type character but the final boss was super slow, i assume as a response to victors slow movement speed, perhaps replacing his block(which is also rather slow) with more of a dash through momentum swinging of his sword would allow you to speed up combat and breaking of resources, overall 7/10, fun game might draw some fan art and play future updates1 found this helpful
