Conceptually I like the 3D style for a Roguelite like Vampire Survivors / Rogue Genesia, but there needs to be a lot more work. Feels extremely early access, main menu seems incomplete with not much progression other than the same run over and over again. If in the future it seems like more work has been done, I'd definitely give it another try, but for now it's not for me.5 found this helpful
I went into this experience expecting to not enjoy, what i left with was some fun, some fun unique ways to level your character through the waves to give unique experiences each time. Some may say its fully repetitve however the levelling system allows you to change certain aspects of each playthrough. I will return.1 found this helpful
Simple survivors-type that's a ton of fun to play. It has a nice, dark and sinister vibe to it with an awesome soundtrack. Visuals are great for a survivors game, especially if you crank up your Nvidia control panel settings. Visuals are great as well for this type of a game, so no pixelated rubbish or particle/ground effect overkill either. Really a great little game for the price that will only get better over time. The game currently doesn't have built-in controller support. However, the Steam M&KB controller template is working just for fine, since the game has auto-attack and auto-targeting enabled. The only button that you use with your character is mapped to RT/R2 by default for dash. I've been running this (and every game) with my PC connected to my big screen OLED TV and using a PS5 controller - which has been working perfectly fine. Just took one round to figure out the camera zoom in and out mapping, and the rest was intuitive. Loving it so far! edit - one thing I noticed is that there may be a follow-up click for certain attacks on elites (blue circle appears). This will be harder to pull off with a controller if what I'm seeing is what I think it is.
