What Steam players say

Players appreciate the roguelike mechanics with class progression and randomized perks, noting that the game has potential for its early access price point. However, major complaints center on control issues—the left-click movement and attack binding makes it difficult to separate movement and aiming, with gamepad support not functioning properly—along with repetitive level design, limited weapon variety, performance problems, and missing sound effects that make the game feel unpolished. The core gameplay loop of upgrading your town between runs is solid, but technical refinement and expanded
- repetitive you only get two weapons, each has 2 skills - one dps and one defensive skill (both have relatively short cooldowns and cost no resource to use); you'll generally gravitate towards one set up and never use any of the other weapons. the levels are linear and just lazily littered with simplistic enemies, destructible "obstacles," and a few binary hazards [if any]. - laggy (at least for me. interestingly enough the game ran decently until the latest patch. I'm not entirely sure why this is though, considering my computer goes what could be considered infinitely beyond the requirements to even run this game). - stiff controls you use left mouse to move, but it also attacks - you'll accidentally click on enemies you didn't mean to and be stuck in the attack animation; of course you can finesse your way around this by just paying close attention to the environment, but the fact you can't even rebind the attack key separately from the movement key is really unintuitive. had to return it unfortunately - it was an otherwise charming game in terms of aesthetics and atmosphere, but in the end it's just another mediocre rogue-like in …8 found this helpful
This is a rogue-like action rpg. It's a point and click type of combat (Such as PoE/Diablo) with hotbar items. You can have one melee and one ranged weapon with a set skill. The skill is tied to your weapon and doesn't change. At present time, Guard, with the gun is a very good talent because it heals and increases your HP by 30% for a limited time. This is good because enemies hit hard and often. You go around, collect coins and some gear. When you die, you use the coins to upgrade the town and improve your characters stats. You can unlock new classes in the game this way. The characters you choose from have random talents/quirks that impact your character. You also gain xp and can level your character with randomly chose perks. Each level drops a chest with random consumables and each boss drops a chest with random gear pieces. Like any rogue-like, you will have runs that go well, and runs that do not. The game is early-access and English is not the developers main language. There are smatterings of grammar and spelling mistakes all over. The game is challenging. It is rough around the edges and I think with polish will improve. Cons: - Having to have a melee and ranged…4 found this helpful

Game has potential...i know it's in early access but the controls are not optimized again... gamepad is in option but is impossible to use it...i think keyb+mouse should be the best but for now is not functioning well...you must implement the possibility to move and fire weapon in independent mode... now is used only the left mouse button so it's impossible move around enemy and aim to them separately... need to work on controls and could be a nice game Hope developers will read this ... update: about developers answer... i have a xbox one gamepad and didn't work !
Note that the game is in Early Access(Feels like alpha), once it gets released its defiently worth buying it for its price. I've spent around 2 Hours playing this game and unlocked quite a bit in the game. There are a few issues to pinpoint and the gameplay is really repetitive and mostly the same over and over. as you progress further levels get harder and so do bosses. the game offer quite a bit. The game is missing quite alot of sounds so it feels very empty while playing the game. As for being a 5€ Product i would say its a Good game. I encountered a bug where the boss somehow charged outside the map, but i was saved by a talent point that i had not choosen yet that spawned a goblin that could range the boss down. Other than that there werent that many issues and i would say for a price of 5€ go for it.
