This game made my childhood awesome. so many memories coming back Thank you, Throwback Entertainment for bringing it back to Steam. it feels like getting a piece of my childhood again.

Bought this mostly for nostalgia. I remember playing a demo from a magazine years ago, ScreenFun, not sure if it was German or Serbian. That demo stuck with me, so getting the full game now just feels like finally coming back to it.

TrickStyle is a distinctive relic of the late-90s experimental era of arcade racing, and even today it remains memorable for its futuristic flair, bold visual identity, and unconventional take on hoverboard competition. Developed by Criterion Games—years before the studio became famous for the Burnout series—and later published on Steam by Throwback Entertainment, it represents a moment when developers were pushing hard to imagine what the next generation of racing could look like. Well i'm kinda new to TrickStyle, it's a great game. It have some annoying collisions bugs when you ride and bump into invisible wall, but that not that annoying as "rubber band" mechanic: your opponents can't be too far if they in front of you(they literally standing and waiting for you to catch up), also they always has to be your tail a single failed shortcut at the end of race track and you are lose the race. Its like you can do whatever(it does not affects the race) before you are near the finish, just don't let timer runs out. So it's like nothing matters that much as the last shortcut before the finish. Even though i'm enjoying the game. Game know how to create tension by using timers, opponents cancel whatever animation they were using to use Attack when you get near them (literally every time).

The basic controls work, but the tricks outside of ollie, speedluge, spin, boogiedrill, and stall don't work at all. So I can't do tricks in Trickstyle.
