About Trigger of Silence

《Trigger of Silence》 is a first-person survival defense game that combines intense melee combat with gunplay. In this invaded world, you play as a super soldier who must hold your ground and fend off waves of dragon-like humanoid creatures.

Powerful Weapons

The game features very unique weapons. Each weapon can use skill cartridges to unleash powerful abilities, dealing devastating damage to groups of monsters.

Tower Defense System

Some weapons can use skill cartridges to summon automated turrets, adding tower defense elements.

Wave Attacks! Advance!

Large numbers of enemies will attack at set intervals, and players must eliminate hordes of monsters to survive. During the advance, certain levels require players to drive vehicles to sweep through large groups of monsters and enter monster nests to defeat the bosses.

Story Background

In 2040, a laboratory secretly conducted portal experiments. After opening a portal, a humanoid glowing figure emerged, immediately taking control of the portal and bringing a large number of monsters. After the lab sent out a distress signal, you, as a super soldier, are sent by your superiors to investigate the laboratory, eliminate all monsters encountered along the way, and eventually uncover who brought the monsters and what their purpose is.

This little indie first person shooter plays well enough, but there’s not much here that will keep you engaged for more than a few minutes. The controls are as straightforward as they come. You move with the standard keyboard setup, use the mouse to aim, left click to shoot, and right click to activate skills. Beyond that, there’s really nothing else to learn. The story is equally barebones, delivered through just a few lines across the game’s four stages. In short, you’re a super soldier and humanity’s last hope against an invading alien force. The stages themselves aren’t particularly exciting since they all boil down to closed arenas where you survive wave after wave of enemies. Even though the game offers five weapons, including a katana, you’ll probably stick with the basic pistols most of the time. The pistols and machine gun have unlimited ammo, while the other weapons rely on scarce ammo pickups scattered around the arena. Health packs are limited as well, so you end up saving them for emergencies. The pistol setup also pairs best with a special ability that damages nearby enemies. It has a limited number of uses, but thankfully it recharges fairly quickly. Combat doesn’t…

Trigger of Silence is a first-person survival shooter that embraces chaos, aggression, and nonstop action with very little hesitation. Built around wave-based combat and old-school FPS sensibilities, the game throws players into a devastated future where scientific experiments have opened a catastrophic portal, unleashing monstrous humanoid creatures into the world. Rather than focusing on cinematic storytelling or realistic military simulation, the game prioritizes fast reflexes, overwhelming enemy encounters, and explosive combat scenarios that constantly pressure the player to stay mobile and fight aggressively. From the very beginning, it is clear that the game wants to recreate the intense energy of classic arcade shooters while blending in modern survival-defense mechanics. The combat system is one of the game’s strongest elements because it refuses to rely solely on standard gunplay. Players are encouraged to combine firearms, melee attacks, and special weapon abilities during battles, creating encounters that feel far more frantic than traditional cover-based shooters. Enemy hordes attack relentlessly, forcing constant movement and quick decision-making. This creates a sat…
