"Urban Lockdown" is a side scroller beat'em up game. It goes for a realistic graphics approach and it fits really well with the atmosphere of the game. It's over the top and very funny, just like the movie it is based on and it's included in the game! Prepare for some intense fights solo or with friends! Choose from a variety of weapons and make crazy combos! The enemies change on each run so your experience will be unique every single time. Taking advantage of your surroundings to attack the enemies is a nice touch! And, if all the action isn't enough for you, then, you'll be happy to hear that you can unlock more modes and attacks! Convenient controls, cool soundtrack and sounds, funny and over the top dialogue! This game has has something that many new titles desperately lack: heart. It's a very classic beat em up, with some interesting new ideas woven in. Something that could have been a classic in the 90s. A bit rough around the edges but definitely worth it. I honestly hope these guys make some more games.

The game looked decent, played well and is fun. I was looking for something that featured real people video mechanics for a fighting game and was pleasantly surprised. I loved the comical finishing moves. I did not like the first person shoot out game parts to much because it was difficult while using a controller. I laughed when the final thug in the shooting part had no shirt though. Great game and I hope they make another with even more characters and longer with more locations, weapons and moves.

Game is made by a single person who is very responsive on the forums. Has a lot of good "small indie studio" energy. But it also hides a really decent beat-em-up with plenty of weapons and death animations for enemies. Its a bit rough around the edges, but its worth the price of admission and fun to play with friends co-op!

This game is a must-buy! The great digitized graphics took me back to arcade classics like Mortal Kombat. The gameplay is very fun and detailed. It is a great beat-'em-up brawler with better combat than even Streets of Rage 4. There are some extra modes and gameplay elements, including FPS stages, lots of weapons, and destructible environments. Highly recommend getting this game if you are a fan of beat-'em-ups and action games!
