Very surprised to see this awesome game get delisted. Anyone that sees this will likely have the game already. Lucky us.

OMG I'm so beyond glad I bought this before it went. HOLY CRAP! Out of all my games, this is one i kept coming back to occasionally.. Out of the Kunio Series, I've come to play this more than River City Girls 1 & 2, the SNES sequel of the first RCR and more than Crash and The Boys, Nintendo World Cup (Kunio)... What a bummer its gone for now. If i lost my copy i would NEED to buy another... The only other one i ever put more time into was RCR. I really hope they bring it back on to the store one day. I would love to buy a copy for a friend so we could play online cop together if it still works. My wife and I played this all the way to the end and got stuck on the boss and she is over him and now I'm stuck. LITERALLY. Recently I started the game over again because the mini bosses just before the last boss wont spawn. If they don't spawn you cant get to the last boss... Hopefully this isn't something that broke when the game went down.

This is the greatest reiver city game ever i wish they made part 2 for this game the combo system rock i understand why the ARC studio want this game gone cause its an embarrassment to the company that a small studio out side japan did a better job than them. I RECOMEND THIS GAME OVER OTHER RIVER CITY GAME. AFTER YOU PLAY THIS GAME FIGHTING SYSTEM ALL THE OTHER RIVER CITY GAME COMBO SYSTEM JUST CANT COMPARE. sure they dont have the Normal mods from the old river city ransom but they have move on from that i mean you dont expect a mob boys to pick on small kids right so they are fighting enemy thier in the same generation as them i dont knowy why people dont understand that any ways the game is no longer on sale so even if you want to play it you cant so if u have it lucky for you that you are bless if you dont then find a way to get it if you can

Steam has desperately needed a Thumbs In The Middle review for a long time now but I'm coming down on the negative side of this On the most positive end: this game's combat and combo system is incredibly deep and intricate, it competes with the upper echelon of hardcore beatemup games like the good Devil May Crys and God Hand and rewards extreme execution. The 8-bit visuals and sound are pulled off well here but even at the time it came out the style was getting a bit stale, and it's nothing particularly notable. Where the game falls apart is just its entire structure and how repetitive and grindy it is. It feels like it takes forever for characters to even start being fun to play as, unlocking moves and leveling up their stats is a massive grindy chore and you just get sick of it. So despite how deep the combat is and how well-made a lot of the characters' kits are, because it takes too damn long to upgrade them you basically just end up playing a single one rather than experiencing any of the variety the game has to offer. I honestly think they could have quadrupled the amount of money every enemy drops and it would STILL be a chore to get everyone's moves.
