[b]violet bricks[/b] is a really amateurish and basic attempt at breakout. [b]24 levels[/b] unlocked one by one, replayable individually, great. the 90s/00s aesthetic is there on the levels but menus and everything else just looks messy. the music is pretty good but it's [b]not fun to play[/b] and has close to zero polish. surprisingly, there's windowed mode, the only setting in the main menu. info about gameplay elements is only available in the pause menu while playing, and there's a single volume slider and a few gfx toggles, only while playing, but not in the pause menu. the slider only affects music, not the really loud sfx, and gfx toggles reset between levels. [b]mouse-only controls[/b], no mention of controller on the store page, haven't tried it. [b]no keyboard support whatsoever[/b] and the mouse moves the paddle, so if you want to adjust volumes or just pause the game, you're risking losing a life in the process. also, the mouse cursor is visible all the time, very distracting. [b]no score, leaderboards or anything[/b], which I'm fine with (the number on the side is the framerate, can't be turned off), but there's nothing to play for. slowly clear a level, next, that'…9 found this helpful
