Breakout: Recharged

pretty unfun version of the game, not an expert on breakout/arkanoid but I think you can do better than this.

Love this really old-school Pong-style game and the one that came out in 1979 called "Little Brick Out" (my dad played that one). The "recharged" part of the game is fun and makes the game a little more interesting visually. Still, I am glad that the makers added the option to play the old-style classic way. Only recommendation I would possibly add is to add a continuous play mode in which you can practice, but you won't earn any points or rankings, etc.

Its okay. It falls short compared to the original Atari 2600 game. It does have the color nor does it capture the nostalgia of the original. If you loved the original breakout, then this isn't it. I won't be purchasing the other "recharged" games because now I know what to expect. There are free game apps on Google that outperform this game, I dont exactly know what they sold me or why they would expect a positive review. Who gave this game a thumbs up?

For pocket change , this is a good reboot of Breakout , lots of challenges and ways to play. Worth it on sale - not so sure about full price. Centipede is better though, that would be my first recommendation from the Atari:Recharged collection 7/10 would feel like life is amazing again, because 45 years ago breakout was cutting edge!
