Voodoo Pin

Precision game that could take you a few minutes or hours to complete. In this game, all you have to do is press the button at the correct time. However, it is easier said than done. On the left side, there is a spinning item, and on the right side, you can shoot white and black pins with your finger. The color is set and you can’t choose. The goal is to hit the white parts of the item with white pins and the black parts with black pins. A variety of things contribute to the difficulty. The first is the spinning and shooting speed, which varies with each object. Then you have to deal with a wiggling finger, which adds timing to accuracy. The second issue is that two pins cannot touch. Because certain things have very small surfaces for one color, this might soon become impossible if a pin is placed in the wrong spot. Pins push deep into the object, but even hidden part below the surface count. This is a problem with little objects because even if you shoot a pin on different sides, you might still fail because they touch beneath the surface. Deceptively fun and addicting little game. There is a small amount of jank but it's not an issue as you restart instantly. A true test of reflexes and patience to a funky little beat.

Fun little game that can get very frustrating very quickly, but I enjoyed the aesthetics and snappy feedback. Good time! 6/10
