Way Out

This looks more like an advertisement for their gun accessory with HTC tracker because the game itself is very bland. It's supposed to be high intensity with lots of movement. And maybe there is, but I found that even when you upgraded your weapons and the powerups, that most of the time you barely had time to blast the green cube that you're supposed to move torward after a few cycles. So all the upgrades mean nothing because the cubes upgrade also. And there's very little movement because there's cubes coming in all rows. Seldom does it make a difference which row you're in. I don't know if you can dodge (up or down) because they move so fast, I only know you can move to another row to avoid them. It just wasn't fun. Rating 4/10 I mean if you have the gun accessory they are selling, it may be more fun ... who knows

Way Out is a pretty pointless wave shooter in which you try and shoot a way out of a wall of numbers coming towards you. These numbers are the number of times you need to shoot that bit of the wall with your gun that seems to have infinite ammo. There are 3 levels to choose from: The Lab, Snow Level and Starry Night, but they are all the same thing anyway, just a change of scenery, but you don’t move anyway. It looks crap, it’s as shallow and a summer puddle and is mind-numbingly boring to play. But for £0.79 you might find some fun here and it is a real challenge when you crank everything up. But I would have much prefered it to be a freebie.
