i really dont know how to find a flashlight and when it gets dark the only thing i could see was my watch. the first time it went dark i thought my game glitched.

Well, pretty good game, but it's kinda boring

Honestly don't even waste your time with this, there are better free backroom games available. This game was bad, I quit not long after starting. Controls were just awful, could not see any sort of inventory so I couldn't see what I was holding. Controls aren't changeable, there was no control label for dropping items so I was stuck slow walking around for too long holding a chair. Randomly dropped the chair after smashing all my keys!!!! For a survival game it was terrible.... The only thing the start had going for it, was that it did give me a feel of being in a backroom.

Welcome To The Backrooms is a strange survival horror game that I found more interesting once I stopped thinking of it as a traditional horror adventure and started treating it as a survival sandbox. I wake up inside the Backrooms and have to explore an enormous maze while trying to keep myself alive. I liked the idea of having to survive the environment itself rather than simply following a fixed horror story. The survival systems are a big part of the experience. I have to pay attention to things like thirst, stamina, body temperature, sanity and my overall physical condition while exploring. I enjoyed this because it makes the Backrooms feel more like a place where I actually have to live rather than just a series of scary corridors. Even moving around can become something I have to think about when my resources start running low. Exploration is supported by procedural generation, so the layout can change rather than giving me a single fixed route through the maze. I liked the uncertainty this creates because I cannot simply memorize the safest path and repeat it. The possibility of randomly encountering an entity also keeps me cautious, especially when I have already wandered…
