the game is okay and i had fun with it

You need to restart your game to change window settings like full screen mode (that is not on by default). There is no master sound slider, if you want the game to be on a different volume you need to change 4 sliders. You cannot exit the menu with the escape button. It uses AI generated pictures in picture frames, ugly ones at that. It is insanely annoying that you don't generate stamina while walking, thus you need to stand still every minute or so. There is no sense of exploration imo and the game gets stale very fast. The only aspect I really liked was when the sanity meter was low the game trolled me by placing down loot on the floor that disappeared when I got close to it. Else the game feels like an early access or beta, not polished, (to me) not fun.

By far the best backrooms game steam has to offer if you just want to immerse yourself and live inside of a backrooms universe. If you want to mind-numbingly walk through endless halls of insanely varied and impressively generated rooms and dozens (over 30!) infinite levels that all offer each their own quirks and certain events, constantly fearing very creatively designed monsters (for their limitations that is, they don't seem to be able to properly path themselves through the halls, but the dev did a great job at hiding that by having very creative pathing and enemy design of each entity.) Also honestly my favorite part is just playing in free mode and seeing what each level has to offer, you could honestly spend hours in most and it's insanely cool how many secrets and little gimmicks I've found in the levels themselves. Beating the game is a heartracing and kind of brutal journey, but feels well worth it by the end and you will go through hours of very diverse and tense backrooms, and who could ask for more? will come back later to this game but the main reason i stopped playing was because the game is deep and very lore accurate with how uncomfortable the backrooms is (i lowkey got a headache due to the sound of level 1 lol). This game is better than other backrooms games IMO if you're searching for a deep experience. However this apects of the game makes it slow and hard. Reccomended if you're looking to experience a harsh version of the backrooms (and a strong feeling of uneasiness).

Literally the best game ever made.

While the game has a lot of unique levels and a neat power up system, the sheer vastness of the levels makes it really difficult to progress at a reasonable pace, making it feel like a cheap way to increase playthrough time. Overall I'd give it a 4.5 / 10, A very slight thumbs down.
