About Windwalker

Windwalker is a 3d turn-based RPG where players collect loot from combat and other encounters to cleanse the plague stirring in the fantastical world of Qubis. Fight against unique monsters with thousands of unique items and acquire powerful pets to fight alongside you.

WindWalker has been a side project of 2 devs that wanted to simply complete a game and put it out there. Any feedback to improve the game would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for checking it out!

Plays more like a demo then a finished product. Buggy. Combat seems too random. One fight will be a 1 shot kill to the enemy and the next one you die. Items not working properly for example I got a wand at level 5 says need level 5 to equip. Item won't equip. Might be okay if you on mobile and just want to kill time. No dungeon it is just an arena where you fight against 1,2 or 3 opponents. You need to pay in order to fight a boss. That is the whole game.

While the game is cute and all.. It just feels like its lacking to me.. All i managed to do in 40 minutes is sit there and click fight again pretty much... will look at it again later on to see how it evolves.

The developers weird boast that the game has "300,000" or more "unique" items basically means they worked out how to randomly generate garbage items. What do you do in the game? The actual gameplay in this is as bad as the crappy flipped looking assets... click to fight enemies that look like they were churned out with some kind of low poly character generator pack. There's no redeeming features to this. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully fre…
