"Winter Wastelands" is a badly made 2D pixelcrap action adventure game with a weak sci-fi theme about escaping an alien planet after you crash land. Unfortunately, you survive the crash and must therefore play "Winter Wastelands". What do you do in the game? Just really weak top down adventure/action/brawling with a couple of boss fights. The best part of the game is that the uninstall feature works excellently. In fact it felt so good uninstalling this that I installed it again so I could go through the joy of removing it a second time. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded [i]despite[/i] the bad graphics, not because of them. Мир проработан достаточно детально, и по нему действительно интересно путешествовать, исследуя заброшенные поселения и сражаясь с опасными мутантами. Боевая система, хоть и не без изъянов, динамичная и заставляет постоянно адаптироваться к условиям. Крафт играет важную роль в выживании, и поиск ресурсов становится неотъемлемой частью игрового процесса. Сюжет не хватает звезд с неба, но он вполне сносный и держит в напряжении, особенно ближе к финалу. Персонажи, которых встречаешь на своем пути, запоминаются, и им действительно сопереживаешь. Визуально игра выглядит достойно, особенно пейзажи заснеженных пустошей. Из минусов можно отметить некоторую затянутость геймплея в середине игры и не всегда логичное расположение ресурсов. В целом, 'Winter Wastelands' – это неплохой представитель жанра survival с интересной атмосферой и затягивающим геймплеем. Рекомендую любителям постапокалипсиса и игр на выживание.
