Played this game as a teenager, it was relatively good back then and had quite a few promising opportunities going for it while it was still in the early-access stage, which was evident by the fact that the developers listened to some of the community feedback. However, in it's final itteration, I cannot in good faith recommend it. It starts off with a somewhat interesting hook: you wake up in your hometown that was just devastated by the forces of darkness with only you and your grandpa surviving the attack. Then the story happens: you have to find the hearts of the slain villagers to restore the town, defeat the dark lord blah blah blah. The setup isn't all that bad by itself, however, the execution is quite subpar: the entire world is pre-generated, having its size, shape and key story structures pre-defined by the developers, with only minor things like general rules for natural recources' spawns being seemingly random. Here's where the fun begins: the developers themselves described their game as being inspired by both Don't Starve and Terraria. I haven't played the latter, however, I can say that it resembles DS in only the most barebones terms: the perspective and the UI are…

Survival, exploration, and crafting come together in a satisfying gameplay loop that always offers something new to discover. Unlocking better gear and expanding your base makes every milestone feel worthwhile. The charming presentation gives the adventure plenty of personality without taking away from the challenge. It's an enjoyable experience whether playing alone or with friends.

Only worth buying when on sale for 90% off or higher imo. not much content at all and what's there is very repetitive, also a little buggy at times and very poor QoL features. I don't just mean no auto sorting for items, i mean furniture only faces TWO directions and other annoyances that make the game a slog to finish. it was fun and cozy at first but couldn't bring myself to finish it, worth it since i got it at like 95% off tho

Cute concept and interesting story component but the wonky controls (and lack of any sort of tutorial or guidance) makes continuing to play really frustrating. Add to this the vast empty landscape between story events makes traversing the world very, very frustrating. The price is fine for what it is, especially on sale, but this just isn't a fun game to play. DNF.

A charming survival adventure with cute pixel graphics crafting and co op gameplay. Relaxing at times but still challenging enough to stay interesting.‍

The controls are not very intuitive :( Ideally, there should be some form of tutorial at least on how to defeat bigger monsters and how to navigate maps. Additionally, it sucks that you have to press E after clicking on the item in the hot bar everytime you need to do something. I also think the walking speed is terrible and the dash is not any better. The obelisks are a nice touch but they only do so much.
