About Wish Project

Looking for an easy game where you can sit back, relax, shoot butterflies and grant wishes?

Then Wish Project is the game for you! Sure, the butterflies shoot back at you, but their bullets don't even move all that fast. Even if their bullets do overwhelm you, just press the bomb button. Poof! All your problems (and maybe even the enemies) are gone! You even have a shield which makes it so you need to take not only one, but TWO hits to die. SO casual!

But there's always the chance you're that type of player who enjoys a challenge. Well then, just change the difficulty from Easy to Hard. Those butterflies will overwhelm you with bullets. And you only have so many bombs... you won't be able to blast away ALL your problems! Oh, and on the hardest difficulty, there's no shield. But seriously, who would ever want to put themselves through that? I guess those who want to unlock all the characters, game modes, and all that extra stuff.

Whether it's Easy or Hard mode you want, enjoy Wish Project!

If you look for an easier shmup, it could be the one. Great price even no discount. [カワイイ] 伝統的スタイルの弾幕STG、カワイイ女の子達を操って進もう。難易度も下から上まで用意されているので気軽に取り組める。とても良価格。

In every sense of the expression, "We have Touhou at home" I don't particularly like the over reliance on regular enemy patterns that box you in completely and / or completely litter the screen with bullets of varying types, on top of a few boss patterns locking you into a situation you can't dodge on more than one occasion (the stage 6 boss is particularly bad about that) Has a few good ideas but sadly the alternate chars are locked behind what most people will never bother trying for (as in completing the hardest difficulty stages with a gold medal, I could see more people trying if it was just normal which is already not exactly an easy task) and the "Tips" are locked behind equally demanding achievements, PROTIP: if I have to literally break the game in half I don't need the tips.

Great game, especially for its rather low price. Easy mode is actually easy (unlike in many other bullet hell games), and normal mode is a reasonable enough challenge, even for someone like me who sucks at bullet hell games. Also has quite a few interesting and unique bullet patterns. Definitely worth picking up for bullet hell beginners and veterans alike.

Wish Project, developed and published by Andrew Willman, is an independently crafted vertical shoot-’em-up that pays homage to the arcade classics of the 1990s while embracing a modern sense of accessibility. From its very first moments, it’s clear that this is a project born of passion for the genre rather than corporate polish. It combines straightforward mechanics with a generous variety of characters, difficulties, and bullet patterns that cater to both casual players and hardened shooter veterans. Beneath its modest presentation lies a carefully balanced rhythm of challenge and reward—a design that relies not on spectacle but on timing, precision, and the satisfaction of improvement. At its core, Wish Project operates within familiar territory: the player pilots one of several unique characters through vertically scrolling stages filled with enemies, projectiles, and boss encounters. Yet what keeps the experience engaging is the diversity among its eight playable characters. Each comes with distinct movement speeds, attack spreads, and special abilities that subtly shift the game’s feel. Some characters favor slow but powerful shots that demand precision, while others unleash…

I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of y…

Good underrated shmup. Cute and funny different characters to play, with different playstyles. Plus it's dirty cheap! It even has local co-op! Replayability is pretty high too. Although the game is a bit short, which is common for bullet hell games, each character has it's own story, bullet/bomb/skill and enemies behave a little bit differently, so you may want to beat the game several times. For the current price I think it's a real bargain.
