Women and Rain

【 Story Summary 】"Women and Rain" is a single-route visual novel that is purely story-driven, featuring an all-female main cast, a female-centered narrative with no romantic pairings, an Eastern fantasy setting, and an anime-style light comedy. The story is told from a second-person perspective. Players will take on the role of the protagonist, Yin Di — a school-age teenager whose home is hundreds of miles away from her sect school, making boarding her only option. She spends her school years training and living at the martial arts immortal sect "Tianjianzong" goes through her daily life as a student and later as a working adult, graduates, and then travels to foreign lands. She experiences the wonders of the "Jiuzhou", uncovers the sect's hidden past, and finally returns to the sect to complete her unfinished journey.【 About the Story 】This work solemnly promises: It does not contain, nor will it ever use, any sexist or misogynistic language. There is only one ending；any choices made during the process only affect certain lines of dialogue and will not change the ending. The game contains a large number of modern terms, female-centric vocabulary, and fictional concepts. Most characters in the story are portrayed as athletic, short-haired women wearing martial arts uniforms.【 Story Tone 】Essentially, it's a tale of boarding school life and traveling adventures in a private academy with fantasy elements. Everyday moments take priority over the main storyline, and the tone is overall playful and lighthearted. The level of xuanhuan (speculative fantasy) and worldbuilding in this work is on the "low to medium" spectrum. Its overarching design is built upon a foundation of modern civilization and institutions, where rule of law > raw power.【 Story Length 】The story is long and spans a wide scope. Certain major characters are introduced later in the narrative, and some early characters may naturally recede from the protagonist's journey over time — this is by design, as a complete story.【 Licensing Information 】Most of the scene images and background music in this work were purchased from asset stores, not privately commissioned. Our sincere thanks to the musicians, illustrators, and graphic designers for their permission and hard work.【 Character Introduction 】Yin DiProtagonist | Age 15 | 178 cmSomeone who interprets her own goodwill as social currency, and becomes like whoever she's with (in a spiritual sense). After leaving home, her mental health and competitive drive sharply increase. She spent her early years quietly and darkly observing others.Ma GuTemporary ally | Age 14 | 174 cm Believes everyone who dislikes her is just jealous of her.A grassroots officer of the self-discipline committee who is never polished enough.Likes to hide in the shadows and laugh at acquaintances when they mess up.When she appears with Yin Di, they resemble two little minions behind a villain.Long AotianDorm enemy #1 | Age 13 | 169 cm A night owl who likes snacking while doing homework at night.Jumpy in her thinking, skilled at finding joy in words and phrasing. Her emotions swing wildly between highs and lows, which is why she has few friends.Yin Di's number one headache.Wen DadingDorm enemy #2 | Age 16 | 180 cmA quasi-ascension star from the southern highlands, naturally gifted, deep in cultivation, enthusiastically devoted to raising chickens.Unwilling to share any information she has gathered.Has already been placed on Yin Di's key surveillance list.Mo FuSenior martial sister | Age 18 | 183 cmThe senior sister who treats her juniors better than anyone in the world.Having been through the rain herself, she wants to tear the sky open for those who come after.Loves sour foods, from candied hawthorn sticks to hot and sour noodles.Only two sentences in this introduction are true.Ma SunMartial arts instructor | Age 40 | 185 cm Signed a work contract with the Heavenly Sword Sect in exchange for urban residency.A low-energy person who prefers being alone.Cursed by wind evil, resulting in half of her face paralyzed.Ma Gu's guardian, but does not consider herself a mother.Yan Jìhèn
