A fun word game! Fit letters into the boxes and join them to make words going up, down, right and left. As the game progresses that tiles get sneakier and tougher. Quite a few words have been omitted that should be in there but it makes not much difference unless you're trying to use three or four letter words. Otherwise this game is very very fun! EXCELLENT!

Игра "WordTactics" - это отличный способ размять мозг и пополнить словарный запас. Геймплей прост в освоении, но быстро становится захватывающим. Составление слов из букв на поле превращается в настоящую тактическую задачу: нужно учитывать расположение букв, их ценность и возможности для создания длинных цепочек. Мне очень понравилась вариативность стратегий. Можно сосредоточиться на создании коротких, но часто появляющихся слов, чтобы быстрее заполнить шкалу, или же рискнуть и попытаться создать длинное и ценное слово, чтобы получить ощутимый бонус. Разнообразие режимов игры, включая кампанию с различными заданиями и онлайн-баталии с другими игроками, удерживают интерес на долгое время. Из минусов могу отметить некоторую однообразность визуального оформления, но это с лихвой компенсируется увлекательным игровым процессом. В целом, "WordTactics" – это прекрасная головоломка, которая идеально подходит для коротких перерывов и длительных игровых сессий. Рекомендую всем любителям словесных игр!

"WordTactics" is another case where an amateur developer decides to compete, for profit, with the puzzle section at the back of the newspaper. Yes, this is a game where you place and arrange letter tiles in a grid to form words, that's it. Words with Friends without Friends, only worse. Easy to see why this was such a failure on Steam. For gameplay purposes, because the user interface for this game is mostly just 2D static text/images... it might as well be a web page. It's functionally no different from a browser game. And we all know, Steam isn't here to compete with Chrome and Firefox. If the game can be done in a web browser, it's just not rich or compelling enough to appeal to serious gamers on PC. The game is really simple and unambitious in terms of implementation, more of a tech demo or one of those cases where an amateur developer spends $100 to publish something on Steam Direct to see if it's possible. Yes, obviously it's possible. A proof of concept, tech demo, or something that's less than a little blip on the radar isn't offering anything truly valuable to gamers.
