Word Blitz

Word Blitz is a neat little word puzzle game that I found surprisingly tense once I got into a good run. The goal is simple. I have to keep creating words by swapping letters on the board, but a bad move costs me a heart, so every decision starts to matter once I get comfortable with the basic rules. I liked the fact that the game makes me actively rearrange the board rather than simply selecting words from a list. I have to think about what letters can be moved together and whether the result will actually create something valid. Words have to stay within a limited length, so I cannot rely on huge obscure answers to solve every situation. The extra mechanics give the system more personality. Matching enough identical letters can count as a valid word, while the magic feather lets me remove an unwanted letter from the board. I enjoyed these tools because they give me a little more control when the board starts becoming difficult instead of making every bad position completely hopeless.
