About Word Scores
Blocks of letters are falling down. Can you form words fast enough to keep the board from filling up and beat your high score?
Valid Words
Words must be 4 letters minimum. Words can be up to 15 letters maximum.Words can be spelled vertically or horizontally. There are about 70,000 valid words, including many proper nouns and names.Game-play
At the start of every game, the first four blocks to spawn are always "W", "O", "R", "D".The board starts at only 4 columns wide, when you form a word that spans all columns, the board grows 1 column wider. As the board grows wider, there are more chances for 2 or 3 blocks to spawn instead of a single block.Scoring

Word Scores is simple, cheap, and surprisingly satisfying. The gameplay mixes word-building with falling tile pressure à la Tetris. Make words to remove letter blocks, unlock power tiles (like row/column clears, wildcards, and blank-removers), and try to last as long as possible. It’s ideal for short sessions — 5–10 minutes — the kind of game you’d normally see on mobile (might even work better there!). For the price (~£2), it’s good value. Would love the option to select my language (like French), and more variety like an AI opponent or cluster bomb tiles would be a fun bonus. 🧠 Word nerds, this one’s for you.1 found this helpful
It is the tetris of word games getting a word big enough to do a full line expands your board!
