I really wanted to like this game cause it has potential, but it's too dark to see anything, making me unable to find what I needed to progress in the story1 found this helpful
Whatever tool I need to move the boxes simply cannot be found. I've turned up brightness 100%, adjusted gamma and all that.. Still cannot find whatever it is I need to move the boxes and stop the flooding. I've spent far too much time trying to figure this out.
Not great, not bad... but for $1.50, it passes some time.
I discovered this game because its Steam badge was cool lol. On my second playthrough, and I have to say I love this game! It’s my first “horror” game, and it does everything well, in my opinion. You’re not getting spammed with unnecessary jump scares, and the story was nice to follow. I **highly** recommend playing with a guide if you get annoyed easily when you can’t find the items you need. Personally, it didn’t matter for me, I loved exploring. The scenery and audio of this game create such an amazing atmosphere. If you’ve played other horror games, this might seem boring to you. But if you’re new to the genre like me, this is a great game to start with. The story, from what I understood, is good. It’s nice seeing a good message being spread. **SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER** I really don’t understand the ritual part at the end. It matched the aesthetic, but it was just weird, yk? The only bad thing is that some achievements are bugged, and you might have to replay the game to get them. For example, I only got the Illuminator badge on my second playthrough, which isn’t that big of a deal, but still weird. FOR A DOLLAR, THIS GAME IS WORTH YOUR MONEY. TRY SOMETHING NEW AND START W…
not bad
I'll be honest and say that this isn't the greatest of games. Visually it's incredibly dark, and in some places almost impossible to see anything, and this was with "brightness" set to the highest level. I also found some parts of the game incredibly boring & tedious. However with all that said I did find the latter part of the game particularly creepy and it gave me chills. The game was short enough for me to overlook the bad and focus on what a horror game is all about..... The unnerving creepiness etc...... Also for £0.79 you can't really knock it. Also worth mentioning that I played this soley on the Steam Deck (through a TV) and it worked straight of of the box. There were a couple of glitches, some of the achievements, and one of the levels (house) I had to restart due to getting stuck. Though I believe other people have mentioned these, or similar whilst playing on a desktop PC.
