Vultures - Scavengers of Death

Great concept and fun game - old school Resident Evil but turn-based. Unfortunately it randomly crashes without any reason or error-message.

Very buggy and combat becomes rather tedious.

It's a turn-based tactics love letter to the survival horror genre, and my *gods* is the interface buggy. It's based on your mouse cursor, and that's really intuitive when you're targeting a specific body part... but not so much if you're using something that targets the floor because now you have to click where the monster isn't. Or you'll have placed a proximity mine where enemies will spawn after a cutscene and the game won't correctly initiate combat or give you full control... I had to open the inventory and change my weapon to get the thing to do anything... other times, it won't let me push a foe until I've toggled something else or hit escape a few times... It's playable, and it's enjoyable in spite of the interface being a buggy pain in the rear. But I swear it's just getting more frequent as I go and at this point past release, this should be getting better, not worse. So it's a thumb's up with a LOT of qualifiers attached.

i havent played a ton yet but im having fun. been playing on steamdeck and havent encountered any bugs yet.

**NO** I love the idea of this game, and at its core it's intent is good, but it fails so spectacularly I just can't. As others have mentioned, there are numerous bugs with varied levels of frustration - the most common being the UI just not allowing you to, for example, change weapons and requiring you to switch your stance from walk/run/sneak to make the option to change appear again. I literally was on the last boss with an objective associated with killing these nodes. I do, and figure "I'm good" so leave the room. Only for nothing to happen. So I got back in, and the game crashes. Perfect guys. Combat is tedious and unbalanced. Even playing on Story, enemies can hit you for 20% of your HP in one swipe. I appreciate what the team was trying to do here, but it's not good.

Good game
