A casual alternative to Devil Daggers for the whole family! It lacks the spatially perfectly designed immersive visual and audio brain-injury aesthetics of its sibling. It lacks the adrenaline injected stakes of getting one-shot killed to oblivion. It lacks the refined controls that clicks a direct feedback loop.

Overlooked game.

Really fascinating game that adds a whole new dimension to the classic arena shooter setup, the flow state you get into as the games progress is crazy. The rougelike system adds a ton to replayability too.

"I like Devil Daggers, but what if vision was a resource?" sums this up exceptionally well. It's more arcade-y in nature, but that's a deliberate choice by the dev, and it helps make this game truly stand on its own. That combined with excellent sound design and most importantly of all incredible feeling moving and combat? I can easily recommend this. If you're not sure, the demo gives you an excellent idea of what the full game entails.

A really fun and unique experience, It Comsumes blends a variety of gameplay elements that revolve around not always being able to see enemies! The design encourages players to find a system that works for them with a diverse array of powerups and equipment. Varied enemies are sprinkled throughout to keep the challenge fun.
