Each circuit is a test of survival. Your gladiators must endure the whole run before they can return home with rewards, scars, and hard-earned progress.

The crowd is watching and the sand is waiting.

✦ AI summary

Primus combines gladiatorial combat with ludus management, letting players build and strategize their team of fighters rather than just engaging in arena battles. Players appreciate the engaging graphics, hyped-up sound design, and the deeper strategic layer that management adds to the fighting experience, making it feel like more than a standard combat game.

I'm a massive Spartacus fan so this game was pretty much a no-brainer for me. I've been following Ethan's journey on YT aswell, so to play the finished product is super fun. What I really like is that you're not just fighting as a gladiator, you're also managing your own ludus, building your team, and making decisions behind the scenes which makes it way more interesting than just another arena fighting game. I really enjoy the graphics and the sound gets you hyped when you're fighting. Only played about half an hour so far but I'm already hooked. Definitely keen to keep going and see how far I can take my ludus "The house of VATOS" hahaha!
