Content is going to take us a little longer than a big team, but we have a plan for success) A dense hand crafted world to explore, with a robust fun locomotion system that allows you to go anywhere.
Climb the tallest mountains, brave the deepest waters, glide to distant lands, with many hidden treasure to uncover
A real time skill based combat system, where you can switch between fighting styles at the press of a button.

The Character you’ve been progressing in your Solo game, is the same one you will use and progress further in Co-op
Use a simplified Character Creator to make your unique character from multiple fantasy races to truly stand outYour progression stays with you, from solo, to co-op and back through multiple playthroughs. And even your town upgrades go with you into New Game +. You will Unlock new Tier levels of difficulty every time you beat the maps end boss, and those higher Tiers are where the enemies are tougher but the rewards and XP are even greater. There will be mining, fishing, animal catching, and other things to enjoy. And in Multiplayer you are not tied to your Host’s location, you are free to play your way, even in their game. You can be the team’s miner, searching for the best ores, and trade them to your friends for their precious GOLD!Save the towns people and use gathered resources to help them rebuild to their former glory.
The Blacksmith, Armorer, Arcanist and Chef can level up as well, granting the ability to sell and craft better equipmentCenturies ago, a primal magic surged from the earth's depths, fueling empires but twisting it's inhabitant and the world into corruption's grasp. Forests blackened, skies bled shadow, and rivers turned to poison.

But a less prevalent radiant energy was also born, and hidden within pure warriors, the Luminaries. Armed with the light, their goal is to reclaim the land, hurling back the blight.

Yet the Luminary's gift is double-edged, immortality that tempts the soul. Every 80 years, Luminaries must yield their light to a successor, or risk eternal decay. Defiant ones hoard it, swelling into godlike tyrants of darkness, the Ebonarchs

As a new Luminary, rise in power. Shatter the Ebonarch's abyssal power source to strip their immortality, and strike them down. Together with your fellow Luminaries, push back the Darkness with Light.

Looked like it was gonna be good, but the awful AI generated voice killed it for me, feels off like an AI game hopefully its temporary and gets better but killed it for me.

The game reminds me of Immortals Fenyx Rising SO FAR in terms of simplicity of combat. Played the demo earlier in the year and there has been a lot of improvement. My only complaint is the UI comes across as 'cheap' but that's minor and I'm sure its already on the devs to-do list. Saw some complaints about the voice acting but I think its great based on the NPC at the start. Also would love save anywhere but thats just my preference, Still lots to explore but first impressions is very good so far, especially for a devs first game with a 2 man team. GGz

I really wish there was middle ground review option but there's not so, I cant recommend it at this time. Combat is rough and clunky, bosses are a bit over tuned for solo play as well. Archery is really in a rough spot. I cant get enough arrows early in the game to lock in how much I need to lead enemies and if I dont just have them walking at me, its almost impossible to hit them. Could be a skill issue but, I usually play archers in similar titles. There's also not much in the way of direction, which I normally don't mind but I just wondered kind of aimlessly. Also, I picked a character to be a magic user, almost an hour into the game and no magic. Hope that something to be added. Thats on me though, it says here theres only the sword and bow. There's a lot of potential here but it needs a lot more time in the oven. Ill come back to it in a few months.

This game has a lot of potential in this Early Access state. It runs well enough using scaling on a 4K tv, but could still use a little optimization. The FSR 4 implementation has issues with the fallback to 3.15 on RDNA 2 cards, it would be nice to have a separate FSR 3.15 option in the settings. Looking forward to this game getting more fleshed out with actual NPCs instead of their humorous cardboard cutout placeholders, quest lines and more variety of enemies. I usually avoid early access games and unreal engine games, but these guys actually listen to their players' concerns ... I had a negative reaction (and review) to finding the Epic Online Services runtime .dll in the demo and it's been removed from the early access game, so I'm willing to take a chance on this one and support development.

Luminary is still in Early Access, but it already shows more promise than most EA titles manage in their first year. After spending time with it, the biggest takeaway is simple: it’s fun. Not “fun with an asterisk,” not “fun once you ignore the rough edges”—just genuinely enjoyable moment‑to‑moment gameplay. Performance is surprisingly solid. I didn’t run into crashes, freezes, or any of the usual EA technical headaches. The build feels stable, which lets you actually focus on playing instead of babysitting the game. Content‑wise, Luminary is clearly still growing, but the foundation is strong. The world feels like it’s waiting to be expanded, and the current systems already work well enough to keep you engaged. The developers have been upfront about what’s coming: UI improvements, more enemies populating the world, and additional gameplay enhancements. Based on what’s already here, those updates should push the game into a much more complete and polished experience. The Character creator is a highlight to the game for me, its top notch and the char models look great. Better then many other top quality games out there. Right now, Luminary sits in that sweet spot where you can …

This game seems to have promise, but there are some very fundamental issues with it, that I believe should come WAY before world building, storytelling and anything else. Combat. The melee combat is very clunky. It has a tab locking system similar to say, Ocarina of Time. Which has your scroll wheel changing targets, but sometimes it won't intuitively select what you would expect as the "next target" or it will ignore a mob altogether from the wheel. Leveling up mid combat? It will break your melee combo in order to do an animation of leveling up. That on it's own is an indicator that this should not have hit early access yet. The core systems should be fleshed out long before the game is monetized. Aside from this core issue, the usual EA problems exist, such as minimal UI, large vast empty world, repetitive combat against the exact same mobs over and over, lack of loot, armor is cosmetic only, there are no defensive stats at all, roll dodging clips on enemies who swarm you making it useless in melee combat. There is a plethora of core system issues that I believe need to be addressed before a developer can look to monetize their product. I am not going to refund this title. I am …
