Nightmare (Incubo)

Hi! I found out about this game about 5 years ago, and finally got around to playing it on my own. I've played the game twice. The first time in ± 8 hours, and the second time in ± 3. When you understand how certain mechanics work, it becomes much easier. Maybe I'll try again after a while, because this game attracts. I like incubo. Beautiful drawing, characters and animations. Atmospheric sounds and music. Interesting and diverse mechanics. Uncomplicated puzzles. I am sorry that there is so little noise around this game. She deserves more. However, of the only disadvantages, I can mention management. It took me a long time to get used to it for the first time. And calculating your jumps to millimeters, their height and from what distance you need to jump on objects makes it very difficult to pass. More than once I noticed various indignation from the letsplayers in this regard. Also, at some points, the control points are very strangely located. Somewhere, they are right next to the riddle, and somewhere right very far away. For example, the last checkpoint after defeating the last boss. Overall the game was a great experience, from the unique visuals to the atmosphere. It definitely kept me on my toes for the entire game thinking there was something going to scare me. It was very challenging at times to figure out what to do, but nothing to hard. I really did enjoy the idea of the story as well, but I did feel the story was a little lost at times. It would have been nice as well to see some more graphical adjustments, such as V sync, due to my monitor having some screen tearing issues. Still, I would recommend to someone who wants a different experience in a game.

Incubo is a hauntingly beautiful game that blends an eerie atmosphere with thought-provoking storytelling. it creates an immersive, unsettling experience that keeps the player on edge. If you enjoy psychological horror, this is the game for you.
