A clumsy stealth adventure game without good story or interesting gameplay. We have to run from monsters in a made-up boy's world whom nobody loved. That's why he decided to live in a coma. The authors show us again and again how hard it is to be Bill. After the 20th time someone scolds him for no reason, you stop feeling sorry for him. Because he's just pathetic and weak whiner. You just accept this. The game bored me after the second chapter. It isn't fun. The camera angle is awful—you can't see the monsters, but they do. And they can see you from a great distance. Inconvenient control doesn't help either. You have to press two buttons with a short interval to use an item. And while I'm okay with that in general, it's frustrating during boss fights (especially the last one). I strongly wouldn't recommend it.

if i had the choice i would choose the middle, however it's to recommend or not to recommend so i chose to not recommend. the game is simple, atleast with controls, however it's simplicity is it's downfall. it can get boring quickly. it's run, crouch, maybe throw once or twice and that's it.the story doesn't really grasp me either so i lost interest. there are puzzles, however i never ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ understand them. i do have a bad record with puzzles in gaming so keep that in mind. i had to pull up a playthrough of this game everytime i encountered a puzzle, that gets irrating QUICKLY. if that playthrough didn't exist i would be stuck and would not be able to get further in this game lol. anyway, i didnt really enjoy this experience, you might. it's a 50/50 tbh and you should probably get it on sale. when i recommend that you should play the game: you like little nightmares and need a game like that. you are out of games and need a short new horror game.

In Nightmare is a pretty good horror adventure game, okay then the story. In a hospital a young man named Bill Thompson is in a deep sleep after suffering so much tragedy in his young life he finds himself unable to face the real world, now in a deep, deep coma he dreams, but his dreams are not pleasant ones as he is trapped in a nightmare world where he must confront his past and his trauma to wake up or else he shall sleep forever. Okay what are the likes, the story is good I like how it talks and handles the themes of child abuse and neglect and it doesn't go over the top with it for shock value, no it's handled much more sensitively, also talking about things like divorce and trauma. I also like the parts about forgiveness, facing your fears and overcoming trauma. The gameplay is good it's a mixture of exploration and puzzle solving while also running and hiding from monsters, it has a nice little nightmares kind of vibe to it, there are some frustrating parts. The puzzles were good a lot of them were fair with some decent amount of hints to tell you how to solve them, except for one puzzle though but I'll get to that in the dislikes. The graphics are good it has a great use…

In Nightmare is a moody, introspective horror adventure that aims to blend stealth, puzzle-solving, and psychological storytelling into a single dreamlike experience. Rather than relying on gore or shock value, Magic Fish Games focuses on emotional vulnerability and childhood trauma, building a surreal nightmare world that symbolizes the inner turmoil of a young boy struggling with abandonment and fear. From the opening scene, the game establishes a somber, oppressive tone: the protagonist slips into a dream realm where memories twist into hostile landscapes, and every environment feels like a reflection of his fractured emotional world. It is a horror game driven more by melancholy than by violence, and its strongest moments are those where the atmosphere does the storytelling. The dream world you explore is designed to feel disorienting and unstable, filled with shadowy corridors, warped buildings, and labyrinths that obey dream logic rather than physical rules. The environments are carefully themed around the protagonist’s past — a school that becomes a prison, a home that turns into a maze of painful memories, and surreal zones where reality folds in on itself. The visual desi…

About 11 hours of playtime for me. It was a toss up between not leaving a review or letting me vent a little in a negative review. I did enjoy the game in parts. The problem is that the game isn't really sure what it wants to be. Is it a in-depth journey into the psyche of a trouble youth? Is it a stealth mission in order to complete a level without getting caught? Is it a run for your life to make it to the exit? Is it a try to collect all the collectables game? Yes and in there in lies the problem. It tries too hard to be too many things. I wanted to try to collect more but the constant hiding and running for your life made it hard to do so. The story line of the trouble youth while cliche is fairly well done. The snippets of his life, including flashbacks, notes and various items are well thought out. It is just too bad that half of the time you are racing by them in order not to be caught. I felt I was continually running past important plot items as I raced to the exit in order to survive. Towards the end, I was almost giving up caring about the story and just wanted to finish the game which is just too bad. The way the whole game is laid out makes it hard to fix this issu…
