About Odd's Job

Jump, bounce, and roll through jobs to unite Odd’s family in their new home. Unlock quirky relatives, grab collectibles, and explore differently themed worlds in this wholesome platforming adventure.

Core Gameplay:

 • Play as Odd. He's a little guy with a big family.
 • Complete jobs, collect coins, and unlock rooms in your house for new relatives to move in. Each unlocked relative opens access to new levels with unique themes. Plant flowers, find lost cats, cook hotdogs, and collect worms to support your family.
 • Turn each relatives' vacant room into a playful space through optional collectibles.
 • Snappy character controls turn obstacles and hazards into playgrounds.
 • Cute, cartoony 3D visuals with classic side scrolling platformer gameplay.

Wholesome Story:

 • Endearing and accessible story about a family settling into their new home. Bite-sized dialogue offers both humor and reflection on familial responsibility.
 • Enjoy the charm of an indie title lightheartedly conveying deeper themes inspired by the solo developer’s own family experiences.

I've not played it fully yet, but I find myself striving hard to get the least jumps and/or floor touches, and I end up resetting levels over and over, because I like to perfect games as much as possible! So I will most likely spend a lot of time getting as few floor touches as I can. I enjoy all the little characters and their respective personalities, stories and quirks. The characters might be drawn in a simple way, but I enjoy that you can still distinguish quite a bit with those lines and colors anyways. Big recommend for platform lovers of all kinds. I think even hardcore people can have fun with trying to get as few floor touches as possible with this game.

A fantastic game with charming characters and enjoyable gameplay loop.

I really loved this game!! I played the demo twice and enjoyed the official release even more. The music is catchy, the characters are cute, and the dialogue is funny (and sometimes even insightful haha). I'm not much of a platform gamer, but I found this challenging enough to be fun without becoming toooo stressful (although there were some sections that I had to play many times to beat). And while I initially didn't have too much interest in the whole "jump master" challenge on each level, I eventually found that I could actually do it, especially on the Rat Jobs and some of Hecate's levels. So now I want to go back and see if I can be more of a completionist. It's much easier to get all the coins on each level. Anyway, 5/5, very cute and fun game. Time well spent!

Odd's Job is a charming game with fun mechanics. It progresses in a way where you really feel like a little ninja late game. The levels stay fresh and interesting throughout and it's a solid 3-4 hours of gameplay. Fun soundtrack and art style. I give it 10 bags of popcorn!

I beat this game a couple days before it came out officially, and it was so much fun. It's a great little bite-sized platformer to run through in a few hours (around 3 for me after going for completion). Odd's Job might not look too challenging but some of the later stages in each world (or family member's room?) will start to test you as a player. Especially those rodent ones for memorization that had no checkpoints, they were the bane of my existence. After the first few worlds when Odd's family members start to add their own little gimmick to levels is when things start to get really fun, and then those gimmicks get mixed together, and the game starts to ramp up in difficulty even more. It's just a great 2D platformer, with nice music, pretty smooth movement and controls, and bonus is that the dev seems like a really nice guy:D. Also Odd does this little dance after beating a level that was so adorable; soooo peak platformer.

Fun little platformer. Not usually the style of game I play, but once I stared I couldn't stop. Very much a "one more level" game. Had a blast!
