Venetica - Gold Edition

Venetica is a very ambitious eurojank RPG and in my opinion a hidden gem for people who enjoy those. Unfortunately the game suffers from some technical issues. It crashed a few times and sometimes areas wouldn't load correctly. There were also some cases of minor stutters and frame drops. Also, being an older title, the game wasn't developed with modern resolutions in mind. Playing the game at 1440p made the UI pretty small in many cases, but it was still bearable. There are also many loading screens, but fortunately the load times are very short. Even though the graphics are very dated, I still think that the game can look quite good. The comic-inspired art style gives the important characters a lot of personality, and some of the boss designs look very interesting. But my personal favourite were definitely the locations. Especially the starting village and Venice itself look very cool. Instead of keeping it realistic, they leaned heavily into more fantastical elements, giving the city a unique look and feeling. The vibrant colour palette also adds to the sometimes fairy-tale-like atmosphere of the game. Exploration isn't as rewarding as I would like, and most side quests also …

Good game. It's a product of its time and has issues but it was pretty fun. Pros: + Fun story. Doesn't take itself too seriously and has good humour. + combat is pretty fun. Can get repetitive but the upgrades in abilities and skills made it enjoyable. + Nice protagonist + Good artstyle. Cons: - Lots of crashes. Always save your game before loading into the next area. - Too much walking, even after unlocking fast travel. It's fine when the game forces you to walk so that you can explore, but there isn't much to explore in this game. - Quest markers aren't very helpful. - The environment sometimes does not load and you have to restart the game to fix it. Would love to see a new modern game with a similar style to this. I miss the odd and obscure b-games that came out in the 2000s

Great gameplay visuals, funny bugs and glithces! Beaty of Scarlett as of Venetica is well presented in a way your eyes feel great presence of someone you like or even love. Who would you die for. Her great friend and companion has been killed at the beggining of the game, then immedately we're going after those assasins. You can't level up everything and you can't level up a skill that you want in a randomize character. There must be a specific one. Even the one in the guild would not let you level up every possible mental or physical skill. There will be some ladders and some crappy flying bat beasts you'll need to deal with it. For me the bad thing about this game is that every human being attacks the same but looks different and there's just a few monsters, beasts. That's a big disadvantage. Anyways I felt amazing during the whole playthrough even thought I was so bored and sleepy doing that locks stuff with fallen comrades who shows you which color of a lockpick you shall click for now. And there's so many combinations which means a lot of time you will do it. Every chest or lock on the door has a different combinations of those 4 colors. Thats really tiring yous as…
