I couldn't. This game's value is purely held up by nostalgia and how important it was at the time. There are so many things wrong with this game it's a mystery how this ever came out without getting a single playtest. The story does not matter since the Claude is a mute and every mission boils down to you receiving orders from the next schmuck down the block until the game is done. Mission structure is so tedious and overdone within the game itself. Over 50 missions of nearly identical objectives with little to no room for error with vague descriptions of what is expected from you. Barely any quality of life surrounding how you simply play the game. Cops are impossible to escape from without collecting tokens. Same for getting health and ammunition too. Cars are flimsy as popsicle sticks. Important as a first in a line of future titles, but the game is so buns I could not be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to complete it. the driving is good though. p.s. I would've complemented the soundtrack 7 hours ago but after hearing Rush Rush and She's On Fire on Flashback FM for the 213th time in a single play session those complements dwindled quickly

What can I say? It's a classic. You should definitely look into mods like Liberty Extended to get modern controls and autosave while preserving the original visual style. Keep in mind that it's a tough game—success often depends as much on pure luck with uneven enemy AI, fragile vehicles, and tight timers as it does on skill. While the story is bare-bones by today's standards, seeing the roots of the modern GTA formula is fascinating. It's short and well worth a try, though keeping a few cheat codes handy isn't a bad idea.
