awful remaster for an already awful game, feel free to just skip over this

What I liked: Story is Good and Immersive, Graphics are good & open world is pretty well-balanced. What I disliked: Less Parkour, Compared to other games, it's less stealthy but still pretty balanced.

This game is the very defenition of mid (Both AC3 and AC Liberation). Both aren't bad but they aren't good either imo.. also both are a bit buggy and crashed on me 2-3 times. AC3 has all the ingredients to make an amazing game (setting, story ideas/pieces) but the execution is just so bad, that I didn't really enjoy it. You don't actually get introduced to characters that are supposed to be relevant and they only show up for max 5 minutes anyway - only exception are the people in the homestead (counts for character developement too). It also doesn't help that Connor is overly stoic/doesn't portray emotions well, when following after Ezio as the mc of the franchise.. AC Liberty was fine, but really just that. It tried some ideas that I personally didn't enjoy toooo much but it was alright regardless. Acutal pluspoints were environmental graphics, that you could parcour on trees, the ability to restart a mission at the last checkpoint (in order to get all optional objectives) and a couple new animations for counters.. But that just isn't enough imo to buy this over its predecessors ..

Played only AC3 and the Washington dlc [h3] Story [/h3] - Connor story was pretty ok but Desmond story was handled so bad it's just pathetic... (The original concept for Desmond story was way better but ok) - The ending: [spoiler] What’s the point of Juno and Minerva in this game when the only way we know what happens next is through the comics? [/spoiler] [h3] Gameplay [/h3] - Comparing to AC 1 and Ezio Trilogy the gameplay got upgraded, better controls (i can finally use shift to sprint), better combat, it's more responsive, less sluggish etc. - Horses got nerfed, you can use their full sprint for like max 10 sec before they slow down and start their cooldown. This is so bad that you’ll be faster on foot for almost the entire game. [h3] Graphics [/h3] - It’s a demaster. Some things got better, but for the most part, it’s a downgrade. [h3] Bugs [/h3] - AC3 has many bugs, but the funniest one was accidentally killing off an important character through combat when a cutscene was supposed to play instead, which left me softlocked. - Modern day mission where you need go to Abstergo skyscraper, most of the walls, floors vanished and i could see the whole map around/under me.
