I have mixed feelings on this game. Definitely Not the best the AC franchise has to offer, but i have come across worse games. Playing as one hero with three entirely distinct identities (Assassin, Slave, and Lady) is highly inventive. It provides immersive, context-driven variety to social stealth mechanics based on gender and racial dynamics. The Lows: The mechanic can often feel restrictive rather than liberating. The Lady persona completely removes your ability to parkour or jump, and navigating changing rooms to manually switch outfits slows the gameplay pace down to a crawl The premise offers a brilliant, mature narrative focus on anti-slavery, Louisiana Voodoo culture, and the meta-concept of playing a censored historical simulation manufactured by Abstergo Entertainment. The machete stands out as one of the most brutal, unique, and visually satisfying melee weapons in the entire franchise. It perfectly grounds Aveline’s combat style into her specific regional setting. Ubisoft again One okay base game followed by a bunch of forgettable copies

Game instantly stops respond/crash on start up... Tried different methods suggested online but no luck. Ubislop quality as usual. Refunding this crap

I knew this wasn't one of the fan favorite Assassin's Creed games, but I still wanted to give it a shot, and I'm glad I did. The combat is just as fun as in the older AC games, which is easily one of the best parts. The story is decent, nothing you'll remember for long, but it's good enough to keep you playing. One feature I actually really liked was the dressing room mechanic where you can switch between the Slave, Assassin, and Lady personas. Each one has its own advantages and changes how you approach different situations, which made the gameplay feel more interesting. The voice acting, though... I honestly can't remember the last time I heard voice acting this bad in an Assassin's Creed game. It really stood out, and not in a good way. Seeing Connor show up was a nice surprise and definitely a big plus. Overall, it's a solid game that's worth playing if you're a fan of the series. And seriously, the "One Watch Is Not Enough" achievement is such a dumb grind. I got it in the end, but it took way longer than it had any right to.
