Minds Beneath Us

I love this game! It has a palpable weighty atmosphere lead by the writing and subtle animations, and bolstered by an exceptional soundtrack. I'm so glad I stumbled on this! I had to buy the soundtrack too and just have it playing while I work. The characters are pretty well fleshed out, the mystery(s) are compelling, and the philosophizing is both interesting in its own right and makes you wonder what kinds of decisions you'll have to make. Will you be able to predict different character's actions? What matters, and what will make a difference? I was always enjoying (or suffering) in the moment and anticipating the consequences of the scenes. The game at points gave me nostalgia for Hong Kong action movies of the 80's. Cyberpunk is the aesthetic, but brotherhood, love, and sacrifice are the vibe. To be honest, I'd have loved if they leaned more into that. Now, here I am having completed the journey and it has left me wanting more, so it's a good thing they have a sequel of sorts in the making.

One of the best constructed narrative indie games I've played in recent years and one of the best cyberpunk games, period. The writing is top-notch, characters and story are interesting. It surprises with how deep it goes! Only the amount of time spent in elevators is pretty annoying lol, but small price to pay. Brillant game! Can't wait to see the dev's next game - and how this game will end.

Dialogue options does not matter at all - effectively the same as just saying "continue". At the beginning game is interesting due it's setting, and the plot, but it become mundane and boring very quickly. I read the summary of the 2nd half of the game, and did not regret I stopped mid chapter 3.

Really cool and deep concept is the main plus, the game explores corruption moral dilemmas that transcend your expectations. I did not know anything going into this game, looking at clips I expected a cool cyberpunk kind of game, that had a good story. What I got in return was a incredible game, with spectacular world building, amazing characters and even better character development and a really gory and morally complex story. One aspect that stood out was the emphasis on "choices matter" you can have conversations with characters that have lasting effects depending on your attitude, the secrets you release and the way you deal with their personality. There where so many paths you can choose some worse then you others, and that really kept me on the edge of my seat the whole game. The thing that I did not like was the fact that the ending did not make me feel as much as it could have, they built an amazing world, story and characters and yet the ending felt underwhelming, I do not know if I picked the dullest path towards the ending or if it was just a tiny bit of a let down. 有点致敬极乐迪斯科？（包括结束的音乐带来的淡疼感也很像）美术很让人沉浸 非要说不好的话 场景比较少 结局有点仓促了 不过这个体量也适合没时间玩游戏的人啦
