10mg: Locked In

Locked In is a clever little two-player visual novel that does exactly what a short game should: take one idea and make it land fast. The tension is immediate, the setup is effective, and the short runtime actually works in its favour. The art direction is bold, the music is excellent, and the whole thing leaves you with plenty to talk about afterwards. Not every choice feels comfortable, but that is very much the point.

Really interesting way of doing a 2 player visual novel

Found out that the game told the husband's player about [spoiler]the wife's infidelity[/spoiler] at the start without telling the wife's player. This is mind-bogglingly unfair and leaves out the wife's motivations for the event. Not recommended!

Interesting concept - 2 player visual novel (though you can cheat and play it alone - I did) - that makes you very glad the pandemic is over (and slightly worried about the next one). Very stress-inducing game, could lead to some interesting discussions if played with a romantic partner.

A great concept with cool art, music and dialogue. A 10-minute game that does what it says!
