Honestly, I don't know why the hell this game has mixed reviews. I genuinely believe that "The Devil in Me" is the best in the whole franchise "The Dark Pictures". I love characters, their style and their relationships. there are a few more mechanics in "The Devil in Me" like characters inventory and sort of hide and seek. I am convinced that this part of the franchise has the most cool plot and ending. I would love to see some more thoughtful games like this one.5 found this helpful
This game wasn't bad the story was good the characters weren't ass good to play as the last games. The graphics are not bad think they could have done better with some of the faces. There were a lot of bugs like my mouse wouldn't work on the fuze box puzzles and my controller wouldn't work at all also the camera would freeze at some angles as if it was on a bit string. the game is decently long took me just over 8 hours to complete would buy on a discount for the amount of bugs definitely the worst game in the dark pictures anthology.1 found this helpful
This was my favorite in the anthology. The graphics, sound design, music, choices, tension and suspense, characters, everything with this game was phenomenal. I can't think of anything that would tarnish its ability to entertain and give its audience the thrill-ride we wanted. Thank you for this!
Bad game design, Choices didn't feel relevant to the character's actions half the time. Many bugs and issues with mechanics not being explained, we lost Charlie due to that. Needed way more time put into the design and fine tuning. Not worth the money.
I’ve owned this game since it came out, but I didn't play it until today 9/6/2026, and honestly, it’s a total disappointment. There are so many errors and bugs, yet they don't even bother to fix them—they just keep releasing more games. A total letdown.
as much as i enjoy the story the technical side of this game is atrocious and playing online coop is genuinely a really frustating experience
