Prince of Persia The Lost Crown is a well-crafted metroidvania that players praise for its fluid combat, responsive controls, excellent boss design, clever puzzles, and quality-of-life features like the in-game memory tool. Common complaints include a weak story, occasional frustrating backtracking after puzzle sections, over-reliance on the parry mechanic in combat, and the required use of Ubisoft Connect, though some players feel the platforming emphasis overshadows the combat.
Yet another lazy game, where whole combat system is built around single mechanic of perfect parry. And yes, Ubisoft Connect abomination is on place as well.5 found this helpful
This is a really fantastic metroidvania type game. Runs perfectly on steam deck, is not too hard or too easy. Has lots of nice quality of life features. Excellent and responsive combat and controls. Highly recommended.1 found this helpful

This is one of the best Prince of Persia games EVER. Unfortunately, the game suffered because of perception (I imagine people didn't like the 2D graphics) but the game is amazing, the gameplay is very fun, the boss battles are great, the combat and parkour are energetic. To be honest, I've never been a fan of 3D Prince of Persia games (mainly because of the slow gameplay) and this game really scratched my itch of fast and energetic gameplay. If you're a fan of metrovanias or 2d side-scrollers, give this game a chance, it is one of the best in its category.
its ok. i find myself going through TOO many obstacles rather than fighting. if you like that than its for you. Its not for me though..by the time u complete the obstacles its not even exciting.
This is a great game with lots of challenging platforming and fighting. I always loved playing Prince games.
