This retro-styled action platformer combines pixel-perfect ninja combat with a gripping mystery about betrayal and redemption, packed with boss battles and fluid animations that bring 8-bit aesthetics into the modern era.

I LOVE THIS SO FAR!! Super nostalgic feeling, I grew up with classic games like these so this is definitely up my alley! Funny thing is I actually decided to give this game a try due to a modded level on Celeste that uses songs from this OST. This game is definitely difficult, but it's at least forgiving with the save points and allowing you extra benefits to give yourself for an advantage. The mechanics are also very satisfying. Even with this game being on the more difficult side, definitely give it a try!1 found this helpful
Cyber Shadow is one of the best 2D platformer that I've ever played. Pros: - The pixel art for NPC, enemies, background, cutscenes are really well detailed an quite colourful. - Soundtrack makes you feel like a badass. - The combat abilities that you unlock along the way are pretty fun as I end up using all of them consistently throughout the game. - I like the CRT filter. - [spoiler] You get to beat Apparitor twice.[/spoiler] Cons: - The game can be difficult at times (but it is rewarding) and there are one or two enemies whose placements are pretty unfair. Particularly a specific laser shooting robot on treads in corridor where some corrupted ethos follow you at a later level. - Might be just me missing some stuff or just me being plain stupid, but it feels like there are some loose ends in the story. - I might have pressed the buttons on my controller a bit too hard in a desperate and irrational attempt to do bigger damage. In summary, If you like a challenging retro-style 2D platformer. This is the perfect game for you.1 found this helpful
Fun, but not very complex. If you like ninja gaiden, you'll like this, because it's just ninja gaiden but quite a lot easier. I got it on sale for 11 bucks but honestly i'd wait for a deeper sale.1 found this helpful
This one and the Messenger are my favorite ninja games and I am very fond of ninja games.
Perfectly recreates all the BS of original NES titles.
