Fantastic Idea Great Art Interesting Novel Mechanics Amazing Voicework Cute Story Tons Of Potential However Tons of bugs, way too grindy, mechanics that don't make sense, restrictions for certain things for no reason, and overall it just feels unfinished. I really want to love this game, and have put a decent amount of hours into it, but there are just so many better choices for whatever it is you're looking for out of this game at a way cheaper price point.

The game is very good, way longer than I first expected. I give it a solid 7.5/10 TL;DR The game is Good. Great story, decent combat. However, it is slightly too grindy for the average person and the post-game content is just you playing the whole 100 hour game again with a slight difficulty tweak. Pros: - The story is decent and is fully narrated. The narrator deserves an award ngl - The game is really long for how much it costs, you get way more milage of this game compared to many bigger titles - I like how abilities combo with each other - you can create your ultimate party of 6 by making your own goblins - Goblins are disposable, which makes you not feel as bad when they die Cons: - The game is unoptimized, the whole game tries on run of a single CPU core which makes it run slow even if you have a decent PC - The game has quite a few bugs, none of which are game-breaking, but they're annoying to get. A post-release batch would have really helped this game - Encounters get repetitive, at some point of the game I was getting the same encounter 2 or 3 times / excursion - It is somewhat grindy, but I don't mind that level of grind - Many genes are just better versions of …
