+++ ●Atmosphere and Style: Pleasant pixel graphics in the spirit of Terraria, Core Keeper, and Necesse. ●Excellent Co-op: Co-op survival for up to four players is stable and a lot of fun. ●Combat: Battles with mobs and bosses feel dynamic, with each boss having its own mechanics. ●Learning Curve: The game is friendly to beginners and doesn't have the harsh penalties for death found in other survival games. ●Magic and Crafting: An interesting system for crafting tools, building a base, and using spells. --- ●Lack of content: Since the game is in Early Access, the content can be explored in a few dozen hours, after which there's nothing to do. ●Weak balance: The difficulty is too low. Even on the hardest "survival" mode, bosses are easily overcome. ●Derivative: The game feels like a carbon copy of other popular sandbox games. ♡♡♡ If you love Terraria or Core Keeper and are looking for a light, beautiful game for a couple of evenings with friends, Tinkerlands is worth a try. However, if you're looking for a deep, hardcore survival experience with hundreds of hours of gameplay, it might be worth holding off on purchasing until major content updates are released.

"Another Terraria/Core Keeper/Necesse clone" — good. More of those, please. That comparison gets thrown around like it's an insult. It isn't. Those games are some of the most enjoyable things in the genre, and Tinkerlands sits comfortably alongside them. I've also seen comments claiming exploration isn't rewarded here, and I don't recognise that. I can't help but fully clear a map, and Tinkerlands gives me a dozen reasons to: accessories, loot drops, unique characters to recruit, plot pieces, a shop on most islands — never mind the ore, wood, seeds and monster drops that crafting demands. Exploration isn't a side activity you do for vibes, it's the supply line for progression. Stop exploring and you stop advancing. It borrows from all three of the games above, which is exactly what I wanted, but it does enough of its own thing to stay interesting. I struggle to see how someone who genuinely likes this genre walks away without many, many hours out of it. Being disappointed that a game builds on what already works is like loving ice cream and complaining you were handed a sundae.

Very good Terraria like game.

Понравилось, что игра не душит постоянным ремонтом снаряжения это хорошо. В коопе играть кайфово. Неткод пока слабоват: ошибок не было, но заметные тормоза игрового цикла из-за синхронизации. Думаю, пофиксят. В остальном очень приятно, хоть я и не фанат выживалок. Советую к покупке.
