Voyage: Journey to the Moon

I love this game to the moon and back.

"Voyage: Journey to the Moon" is a marvellous adventure\Sci-fi game inspired by works of the famous writer Jules Verne. It is pretty unusual Point & Click game with an uncommon game play features , charming soundtrack and visuals... Try yourself in this very journeying voyage...

Ignore game time - I couldn't get this to run through Steam and had to play directly from the exe file PLUS a ROM I had downloaded. Getting this to work on Windows 10 was pretty difficult. But once I successfully booted it, Voyage: Journey to the Moon played and felt exactly the same as when I first borrowed it from the library all those years ago...this is a magical, intelligent point-and-click with such a fascinatingly in-depth examination of life on the moon. This game rewards logic and patience, and is unbelievably satisfying when you persist and get a puzzle right. Even if you occasionally use a walkthrough to get through it (as I did) I wholeheartedly recommend this treasure. Kheops studio made something so special that by the end, when it was time for Michel to launch his shuttle and return home, I didn't want to leave.

I don't know if it's because I've got two screens, modern day computer problems, or what the major problem is.. But my screens go absolutely nuts when I start the game up. Crashes if I click during a cutscene. Eh.. I gave up on trying to get this one to work properly.

I used to play this game when I was young, I guess when it was released. I've a huge amount of nostalgia for it but it still holds up as, in my opinion, a really fantastic example of the genre. (I couldn't get on so well with their other, more well known games, tbqh. But this one has my heart)
