About Moon Mystery

The Moon. Our closest celestial neighbor. A place full of mystery and strange things. That's right, there's more than just rocks and impossible challenges out there. A lone astronaut is about to learn that first hand, when he loses contact with Earth and begins an interstellar odyssey across the universe

Moon Mystery is a first-person shooter adventure full of puzzles, action, set on strange new worlds. The gray rocks of the Moon are just the first step on a great journey. Fill up your oxygen tanks, top up your magazines, and get ready for a long trip. You won't be seeing Earth for a while.
Humanity's return to the Moon was no easy feat, requiring state-of-the-art technologies and Artificial Intelligence. Piece together what happened to the previous mission on the Silver Globe alongside the sole survivor, the AI computer. Our first permanent lunar base being the origin point for where everything went wrong. What happened? What do you need to prepare yourself against? Just why did we go to the Moon in the first place?

The Moon is one of the most hostile environments known to man. Put wits and platforming skills to the test while traversing treacherous landscapes and vast abandoned bases. Pilot multiple vehicles such as spaceships, radio-controlled cars, lunar rovers, and even a submarine to get through alien worlds and solve the many puzzles that await.

While outsmarting puzzles and platforming through the environment is one thing… Dealing with malfunctioning robots stalking the corridors alongside other, more terrifying and mysterious foes, is another. Keep that gun loaded alongside oxygen bottles, you'll need it.

✦ AI summary

Players praise the game's atmospheric visuals, excellent music, and solid core mechanics that blend familiar features from other games, though some criticize the flat voice acting and emotional delivery of the main character. The most consistent complaints involve technical issues including performance problems and stuttering, poor enemy AI that gets stuck on geometry, unbalanced difficulty with bullet-sponge bosses, and a story that lacks coherent flow.

I'm just gonna come right out and say this: please don't play this game. It's BAD, like BAD BAD. I saw the Mixed reviews talking about a shallow story and mediocre gunplay, but holy that is scratching the surface. While I was playing, the bugs and terrible mechanics became so intense that I kept track of every grievance I had with this game. If I were to post it here, it would be too long, but I'll share some. -The story makes no sense like at any point in the entire game. You are on the moon, and then you go various places destroying Blue Material pillars, and then the game just ends? It's barely explained what the pillars do or why you're doing this, and by the end you're scratching your head trying to find out what the hell happened. -Pointless collectables that are easily missed and you only want to collect them to get the achievement. All they are are tablets that have a sentence or two of info that means literally nothing. "They transport the Blue Material in these crates", "We made specific robots to serve specific purposes, this one shoots a shotgun", "We made specific robots to serve specific purposes, this one shoots a sniper" and that's not even lazy review writing, its…

Moon Mystery is an interesting game that is ultimately defeated by its own ambition. This indie FPS clearly wanted to take a shot at the big leagues by including all the fancy features of AAA shooters, but unfortunately, it spread itself too thin in the process. Combat: Competent. The shooting is satisfying, the weapons are well-animated, and while the upgrade system is basic, it works well enough. Enemy AI: Horrendous. Robots frequently get stuck on geometry, run around in circles, and do just about anything but actually shoot at the player. Graphics: The game looks nice, though the sci-fi art style is a bit too generic. Voice Acting & Dialogue: Flat and stilted. At times, the script reads like a poor translation from another language. Vehicles: Decent. The cars handle better than you'd expect, though these segments mostly feel like filler. Level Design: Pretty bad. The game aims for a semi-realistic sci-fi setting, but the areas never feel lived-in or like functional research bases. Instead, it feels like a random collection of assets haphazardly thrown together without any flow or cohesion. The scale is impressive, but it completely fails on the details. The end result is a j…

game good for a while. graphics are great. story is a little long. needs more save spots or manual save. when you get to the platform where u have to hack the controller its a battle with bots that throw grenades. you need to stay in the area, cant run where you want, can jump in the car, you verses bots that dont need to reload. when u die you start over and need to collect credits and ammo again for 20 minutes. if you a game that gets you frustrated after 5 hours of play this ones for you. im am uninstalling it and hiding it as another game that needs help

Fun game, although I find the enemies are not very challenging.
