Take Twin Peaks Season 2, and make it a silent film. Aesthetically pleasing, but not for everybody. Recommend completing in one sitting.

I've got to say, I've never been more confused or disappointed in a game. After being forced to sit through what should be the end-game credits just to start the game, I wasn't in the best frame of mind by the time I was able to actually play anything. And then the confusions began. There's absolutely no direction as to what you're supposed to be doing - you just wave the mouse around until the cursor indicates you can do something and then... things happen to you. You're handed a case file that you have no time to read at all (and you can't open an inventory to read it later), then scenes jump with no warning. Maybe it's because I'm autistic but I found the jarring transitions, the lack of explanation, and frankly, feeling like I had absolutely no control over the game made this utterly unplayable for me. The developers couldn't have designed a game that was possible more exclusive for me if they tried. If you enjoy not having a clue what's going on, or you're really good at figuring out what's going on by being shown random moments in time then you might love this. This is, without a doubt, the worst game I have ever played, and I've played some bad ones in my time.

I have nothing against walking simulators but I am not sure if this one works as a game. The plot feels like a dream Dana Scully would have after binge-watching Twin Peaks, which of course sounds great. But the interactions are so limited it is hardly interactive and the story is so unfocused it is difficult to call it narrative-driven. I was going to give it another shot but after half an hour into my second playthrough I realized I can't be bothered to pick flowers, collect feathers or simply go through the motions. This left me with a lot of open questions. Who walks that slow? Has the FBI never heard of cable management? What is Donna Howard doing in Virginia?

Did not get the story of this game at all. While it has interesting setup, I was more than confused after finishing 2.5/5*

wow, a must have LSD themed gaming experience, complete with chekov's LSD tab story, you have to play the whole game through for the OH ♥♥♥♥ OMG WHAT that the game setup so well to hit, 10/10 weird and charming
