Very good, Sam's story line hit home for me. The mystery regarding Oscar, and the details from Prohibition are facsinating too.

I loved this game. One of the first walking simulators I played, I enjoyed exploring the house, reading/listening to the story bits. Also, the soundtrack was great! I'd only had the most peripheral awareness of the Riot Grrrl movement as a tween, but I enjoyed what was in the game as well the excellent background music! I loved it all. More than just the game, story, and music, though; Gone Home gave me huge amounts of nostalgia. It wasn't just the place (grew up in the Pacific Northwest), it was the time period. Playing the game felt like it was *I* that had gone home. Back to the early/mid 90s. Even forgetting the nostalgia, I think it's a good game, if a fairly short one.

It's a cute story, it unfolds as you find clues, it is that kind of "walk sim" and click type of adventure, wih a fairly straight line plot and some good twists and goodies to find. Simple but well-crafted.

God this game is so beautiful. Starting it i thought it was gonna be horror because of the ambiance but nope just beautiful gay happiness! I love how the entire point of the game is just figuring out your own place in this story that's happened while you were gone, because that's true both as Katie and as a player. Sam and Lonnie are gone and wherever they are they are happy. And so am I because this game is so great; you can tell the amount of detail that went into its production. It really feels like you've stepped into a world that wasn't meant for you to figure it out (mainly - other than the journals), it's just there and you're left putting together the pieces. I could rant about this game for a while, but just go play it.
